European Falcon Farms Expand Presence at Saudi Auction as Investor Interest Grows

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, August 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- European falcon breeding farms are expanding their participation in Saudi Arabia’s International Falcon Breeders Auction, reflecting growing confidence in the event as a specialized marketplace for farm-bred falcons and a platform for new investment.

Austrian falconer Ali Mughal, owner of Valley Club Falcon farm, brought his Slovak partner, Logo, to this year’s auction to show him the commercial activity and investment opportunities surrounding the event. Mughal has also significantly increased his own participation this year, bringing around 100 falcons compared with smaller numbers in previous editions.

“The auction is developing year after year and has become a safe and reliable marketplace for selling farm-bred falcons, which encouraged me to expand my participation this year,” Mughal said.

He said he invited his Slovak partner to see the auction firsthand and assess its economic potential.

“After seeing the organization, strong turnout and investment opportunities, he decided to participate in the next auction with his own farm,” Mughal said.

Mughal said the auction is no longer limited to buying and selling falcons, but has become a platform through which investors can explore opportunities in a fast-growing sector.

He added that his connection with falconry dates back many years, deepening his ties to the sport’s heritage and to the Saudi market.

Mughal thanked the National Center for Falcons for its hospitality and the support it provides to participants, saying the facilities and professional environment have strengthened international breeders’ confidence in the auction and encouraged more farms to take part in future editions.

The International Falcon Breeders Auction has become a leading destination for breeding farms, falconers and investors from around the world, offering a reliable marketplace, professional organization and integrated services that support the growth of the farm-bred falcon trade.

The auction is being held at the National Center for Falcons’ headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, and runs until Aug. 25.
